100+ People Who Care | Dunedin - 20 August 2025 Meeting

$200 donated
Given by 2 generous donors in 5 weeks

Runner up donations from our 20 August 2025 meeting to help Southern Youth Development! 🙌 Donate here ❤️ #GiveBack #SupportLocal

Dunedin, Otago

At our 20 August 2025 meeting, Dunedin SPCA received the majority vote, but we also want to recognise and support the other incredible charities who shared their mahi with us: The Moray Foundation and Southern Youth Development.

As part of 100+ People Who Care | Dunedin, the two charities who aren’t selected on the night receive $200 as a thank you for their time but we’d love to give you the opportunity to contribute further if you feel moved to do so.

Your donation here will go directly to Southern Youth Development, helping them continue their valuable work in the Dunedin community. Every dollar makes a difference in strengthening the causes they champion.

Note: You don’t have to have attended the meeting or be a member to donate :)

About the Group

Members pledge to donate $100 at four fast-paced and heartfelt one-hour meetings each year, totaling $400 annually. At each meeting, three charities share for seven minutes about their work in the community, followed by a brief Q&A. Once all three have spoken, everyone votes on which charity should receive the pooled donations.

The charity with the most votes receives the full contribution, while the other two receive $200 each as a thank you for participating.

If you’d like to know more about the group, please check out our social media pages or contact Nick Berryman at nick.berryman@bayleys.co.nz
