Southern Youth Development

Southern Youth Development

Sẏd is an innovative, collaborative youth agency providing support and services to rakatahi and their whānau in the Otago region.

Otago

Southern Youth Development (Formerly the Malcam Charitable Trust) is a not-for-profit youth agency that supports over 1000 rakatahi a year in transition across Otago. We use activity based learning, real life scenarios and youth-led activities to be able to promote good life choices, goal setting and confidence building so young people have the best chance for their education or career.

We are reliant on donations to be able to continue to do our fantastic mahi. Please donate today!

More about us

Southern Youth Development facilitates quality fun experiences that encourage rangatahi to become self-supporting and valued members of their communities. We enable rangatahi to find out more about themselves and the difference they make.
