Running and rowing our way to 100km for the ladies.
Wellington
Inspired by Sam Briggs who threw down the 100km challenge, we decided to pair up and attack the 100km together and, while we are at it, raise funds for the lovely ladies at Te whare tiaki wahine refuge to help them provide a safe house for women from domestic violence.
On January 10 we will be completing 100km (shared) - 50km of running and 50km of rowing, split as desired. We expect this will take around 9 hours!
One of us has never ran more than 10km and the other has never rowed more than 10km!
Thanks for any support, and if you’re able to donate we’re sure it will be very much appreciated!
Georgia & Dani
Myself and Georgia wanted to help the local ladies and support Te Whare Tiaki Wahine Refuge, we love the work they do for all the ladies out there that end up in a predicament.
