    To those who donated to the cause, so important to Ben - THANK YOU.

    To everyone who took time to support our special day for Ben; to remember him and honour his plans - THANK YOU.

    This event reminds us how loved Ben was and is🕊️🤍. How family, friends and those we’ve not even met, choose to come together for him.

    As a family, carrying on Ben’s legacy is an honour we take very seriously.

    In the weeks and months leading up to this annual event, on the day and for a time after, many conversations are had about Ben and his legacy. And we love that.

    Epilepsy New Zealand will be delighted as donations raised to date are more than $2300! Ben would be so thrilled!

    So from our family to you and yours,🙏 THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

    Maddy, what a champion you are! Completing the Rome Marathon 👏 today, we’re so proud of you and know Ben 💫would have been cheering you all the way.

    Time to put your feet up and relax. Amazing effort. 🙏🏻

  • Countdown is on!

    With a week to go until our #10kmsforbenmay, 23rd March, the support has already been soooo amazing.

    Ben’s cousin, Maddy runs the Rome marathon on Sunday, dedicating her race to him. Events are being locked into diaries. Momentum is building across the globe.

    Ben had been planning an event before his tragic death. He was 22 years old.

    He wanted to raise awareness and funds for epilepsy by sharing some of his own stories and the challenges of living with epilepsy.

    A keen athlete and coach, Ben was planning a sporting challenge as a fundraiser.

    Following his death,🖤 those closest to him wanted to continue his plans ……….and so the #10kmsforbenmay event was launched on World Purple Day 26th March 2021.

    This is our 4th year and generous donors have already raised over 🤩$670!! THANK YOU.

    Ben would be so very thrilled.

    We’re on the countdown to our 10kms for Ben May, 23rd March and Maddy’s marathon, 17th March, that she’s running in Ben’s honour. 🤍

    Donations have been flowing; so many generous folks donating.🙏🏻

    Thank YOU for supporting the plans Ben had started and honouring his memory this way.

    The funds being raised are helping to change lives. 💜💜💜
