12 Hour Workout: Charity Event

$1,568 donated

As a studio, we want to raise money and awareness for youth suicide and mental health.

Auckland

The purpose for this event is to raise money and awareness for mental health. Many of us experience or know of someone who is affected by mental health. We want to encourage the idea that it’s okay to not be okay - and admitting that and asking for help does not make you any less of a person.

That’s why we are doing a 12 hour workout. Who can workout for 12 hours alone? Not many. But who can do a 12 hour workout with the help from those around them? Anyone and everyone.

The reason why we have chosen to work with I Am Hope is because they focus on mental health from a young age - which we think is important. We want this money to facilitate resources that our youth need to be educated around mental health from a young age.

We want to raise money and awareness for suicide and mental health. A few of us have met with Mike King for coffee, and we would love to support this charity.
