Matt's 12 Beer Year for the Relay for Life

This year I'll be undertaking a massive challenge. I've called it the 12 beer year, meaning I'll only be drinking a maximum of 12 beers (or any other kind of alcoholic drink - bottle/can/glass/handle/shot of) for the entirety of 2015, right up until the New Year. This is a massive challenge because I do enjoy a few beers with me mates, and everything seems to involve alcohol when you're only 22... So I'm all but giving it up for this year!

Aha, now that's where you're wrong, Mr Cynical Questiony Man. I've made a pledge to personally donate $1000 to the cause if I drink more than 12 drinks, and anyone who knows me knows I'm a man of my word. It's a way to stay honest, but ALSO a great way to motivate myself not to drink so much. (and it's working)

Tuesday 17th March - 1 beer for St Patty's (HALFWAY OH LORD)

Late April - 1 Appleton's and cola for Morgan's 21st

Thursday 14th May - one stein for my birthday

Saturday 30th May - 1 neat Glenfiddich for Cam Slark's birthday

Mid August - one delicious red-flavoured Vodka Cruiser for Tevita's 21st

Saturday 17th October - one pint for Kane's stag do in Taupo

Saturday 5th December - one big can of Russian beer for my FINAL DRINK on Crate day!
