24 Hour squash-a-thon in aide of Women's Refuge
Wellington
We've set ourselves a challenge to play 24 hours of continuous squash to raise awareness and funds to support the amazing work Women's Refuge do in our communities.
Sadly, family violence is a common occurrence in NZ. Thousands of people shelter with Women's Refuge every year. Half of them are children.
Every day in homes throughout the country our kids are seeing, hearing and in most cases getting caught in the middle.
Women's refuges around the country often see a spike during Christmas time where women and children are in need of help; this can range from a safe place to stay to providing a gift for children to open on Christmas day.
No donation is too small, every cent counts so please get behind your family and friends who have taken on the challenge.
You will be able to follow the event and send messages of support (from Friday 15 December - Saturday 16 December) through out Facebook page, Tawa Squash Club. https://www.facebook.com/tawasquash/
Sending thanks in advance for your support.
