24 HOUR SWIM FOR ST JOHN
24 Hour of non-stop swimming to support St. John
Otago
Southern Lakes Swimming Club are fundraising for St Johns with a 24 hour swim and inviting other swimming clubs to help.
Between midday on Saturday 31st October and midday Sunday 1st November, club swimmers from SLSC have organized this 24 hour swimming event. They are inviting all local swim clubs and swimmers who will attempt to swim 10,000 lengths or 250km of Alpine Aqualand pool.
Along with the public and our community, the swimmers all appreciate the services provided by St Johns and know that fundraising is vital to the organization. We would like to raise at least $2500 (that’s $10 per km) for St Johns but the possibilities for donations are infinite.
