Spreading awareness for Mental Health in NZ and raising funds towards the Mental Health Foundation by sweating it out for 24 hours
Otago
Everyone has been affected in one way or another by mental health, it's one of New Zealand's biggest issues and we believe it's time to start talking about it and supporting each other.
In fact over 50% of New Zealanders will experience a mental health problem in one way or another in their lifetime. Not just adults but the younger generation is effect too.
The Mental Health Foundation is a charitable trust whose work is diverse and expansive, with campaigns and services that cover all aspects of mental health and wellbeing. They provide free information and training as well as advocate policies and services which support people with experience of mental health issues.
It’s our time to help out and take action! A component of the 5 Ways To Wellbeing is to ‘be active’!
On September 28th at 7am us girls will start our challenge, we will be running through 24 F45 Hollywood Sessions continuously for 24 hours and will finish on September 29th at 7am, this is all to raise money for the Mental Health Foundation.
We will be pushing our bodies to their limits as well as overcoming many mental challenges ourselves throughout the 24hours, this is where we need your support!
If you’re in the Queenstown area come into the studio and watch us sweat – if you’re a current member feel free to come sweat with us for a class too throughout the day, make sure to bring a donation along with you! If you won’t be able to make it down to the studio to support us on the day then follow the links and share a donation on our pages.
