Running 30 laps of Rotorua's Blue Lake to raise $30,000 for ADHD and neurodiversity support for local children and families.
Waiuku, Auckland
The week I turn 30 I’ll be taking on the Blue Lake 24 Hour Challenge in Rotorua (26-27 September), pushing through 24+ hours of running in an attempt to complete 30 laps of the lake and raise $30,000 for The Runway Foundation - a local charity supporting children, youth, and families navigating ADHD and neurodiversity in our community.
This cause is deeply personal. I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult after years of trying to make sense of things that never quite clicked for me. That diagnosis changed how I see myself and allowed me to access support I wish I'd received much earlier in life.
Now, as a parent to a neurodiverse child, I see those same challenges and needs from a completely different perspective. I understand more deeply how important early support, understanding, and community really are - and how much of a difference they can make.
Whether you donate, sponsor a lap, or simply share this page, every bit of support means so much.
