365 Safe Nights

Every night over 160 women in New Zealand need a safe place to escape.

Woman’s Refuge safe houses are not for profit & independently funded. They support

thousands of sisters and their children who often turn up in the middle of the night, with

nothing but the clothes they have, and maybe a few bits and pieces.

The cost of a night in a safe house for a sister and her tamariki is $20 per night, for a full

year, that equates to $7300.

The team at Grind health and fitness have set the target of raising $7300 for women's refuge to secure an entire years worth of safe nights, just $20 covers a safe clean bed, hot meals, childcare, 24 hour security, supportive staff and helpful advice.
