Raising hope, support, and care for children with cancer and their families.
Orakei, Auckland
Each week, approximately three children are diagnosed with cancer. Nearly half—between 44% and 50%—are under the age of five. These are children who have only just begun to experience the world, yet are suddenly confronted with a life-threatening illness.
Mia is one of them.
At just four years old, her days were once filled with laughter, play, and discovery. Then came the diagnosis that changed everything. Her world quickly became one of hospital visits, intensive treatments, and uncertainty—far removed from the carefree childhood she deserved.
Yet even in the face of this, Mia showed remarkable courage. On her most difficult days, she continued to smile, offering strength to her family as they faced not only emotional hardship, but also the overwhelming practical and financial pressures that accompany childhood cancer.
No family should have to endure this by themselves
This is why the support of the Child Cancer Foundation is so vital—providing care, guidance, and practical assistance when families need it most, allowing them to focus on their child’s wellbeing.
But its difficult do it without assistance
Your donation can provide comfort in times of fear, relief in moments of stress, and hope when it is needed most.
