Hi there my name is Jamie. I'm 13 and go to Elim Christian Collage. On the 8th of July this year I will be shaving my head for cancer. I am setting up this fundraising page, not only for people to donate, but shave your head with me if you would like to, you are more than welcome to join me in this big and amazing challenge. I have chosen to donate to REACH child cancer, their focus is on supporting children that have cancer. They do many things to assist children living with cancer such as; reducing hospital visits, and majority of the money they receive goes towards research to a get a better understanding of what the children are dealing with and how they can help. I would really encourage you to donate to this amazing charity because they strive to make living with cancer easier and less scary for children.
I want to show young girls that looks aren't everything and that shaving your head or changing the way you look isn't a big deal and you should be comfortable in who you are. I feet that in doing this I am going to grow in my faith with God and I will discover a little more about myself and my faith.
