Fundraising for The Little Miracles Trust
Nationwide
Did you know full term gestation for human babies is 38-42 weeks?
Bennett & Jack never made it to 38-42 (weeks), and neither did 5,000+ other babies who are born preterm in New Zealand each year.
So I am planning on running 42.2km for my first (and only) full marathon...on behalf of them to try and raise funds and awareness for the Little Miracles Trust who provides support to whānau of premature and sick term babies. This includes care packs, ward and community support, developmental playgroups, research, and important morning tea!
As a family we have really appreciated the support we have received for both our Little Miracles - and would love to give back.
World Prematurity Day just happens to be on the 17th of November, and the Queenstown Marathon is the next day so I am planning on going purple for prematurity! (Hopefully my t-shirt colour rather than just my face).
Final thank you! 3 December 2023
