I am part of a cycling team participating in the Tour of New Zealand. Team Unicorn is raising funds to train GPs to help with the earlier diagnosis and better management of neuroendocrine cancer. This type of cancer can occur at any age in many places in the body. The chances of being misdiagnosed for years is high; it takes five years on average to get a correct diagnosis. This cancer is more common that brain, ovarian and cervical cancers – and yet most GPs know nothing about it. Learn more here:
