A walk to raise funds for Voices of Hope and to raise awareness for Mental health

Kia ora whānau,

My name is Ms Hannah, and I am honoured to be a Finalist in the Face of Beauty International New Zealand pageant, taking place at SkyCity Hamilton on the 30th of August.

This journey is deeply personal for me. I have walked through my own battles with mental health, and I know how powerful it is to feel seen, heard, and supported. That’s why this pageant is more than just a competition—it’s a platform for change. It’s about all of us, our families, our communities, and how we can come together to uplift and inspire hope.

To honour that kaupapa, I have chosen to dedicate my entire walk in the North Shore Marathon on the 31st of August to Voices of Hope, a charity incredibly close to my heart. Their mahi (work) makes a real difference in people’s lives, and I’m proud to walk for them.
