I am fundraising for Leprosy Mission, help me reach my goal so that leprosy-affected patients in Nepal are able to have an abundant life!

The narrative of my life has always revolved around my passion for helping people. My heart was, and is, broken for the things that breaks God's heart in this world. Therefore, this has fueled my passion to help the helpless, the poor, the orphans and the forgotten ones.
Last year, I was reading "Ten Fingers For God". A story about Dr Paul Brand who became one of the leading doctors in the treatment of leprosy in the mid 20th century. I was captivated by his journey and his story cultivated an interest in Leprosy for me. I had also just recently visited a hospital then, in Africa Tanzania, and although there were no leprosy patients there, I loved every minute of being in the hospital.
So when the opportunity to apply for the position to be youth advocate came up for a Christian organisation called Leprosy Missio NZ came up, I was extremely excited and could not say no! This includes a scholarship trip to Nepal to visit the hospitals and to see the work that the organisation is doing over there and most importantly, to see and be in fellowship with beautiful Nepalese people.
Although the trip is sponsored, a special requirement in the application is to fundraise for Leprosy Mission to show one's commitment to the organization. This money will go towards a project in the hospital to help leprosy-affected patients.
I am applying to become a youth advocate. As part of my application, I have to raise funds for Leprosy Mission NZ.
