Aidan and I are doing our part to help those less fortunate, because we believe no Kiwi Kid should go without the essentials.

Hawke's Bay

Every child deserves equal opportunity to an education.

Education is how we will break the cycle of hardship, and it is at the core of everything KidsCan does. Leveling the playing field, giving children whose families are struggling the same opportunity to learn as anyone else. 2020 has been a roller coaster of a year. While so many families from around the world have struggled as a result of COVID-19, here in New Zealand there are thousands of kids who have, and are still struggling alongside their families.

Aidan and I are doing our part to help those less fortunate, because we believe no Kiwi Kid should go without the essentials. We will be taking part in the Hawke's Bay Marathon, this will be our first marathon for the both of us. 42km - a challenge to ourselves, but we wanted to use this as an opportunity to make a difference in the world.

Knowledge is power, and education is the premise for progress.

Let's do this!

My good friend Aidan Te Wake and I are doing our first ever marathon. We want to use this challenge to help raise awareness and also do our part to help Kiwi Kids in what has been such a difficult time for everyone, especially those already struggling.
