Wanting to donate my daughters beautiful hair towards cancer and also be able to raise funds leading up to her haircut

Bay of Plenty

Alaya-Maree turns 5 on the 23rd of August. She's never had her hair cut before (just a fringe) and because she has beautiful long straight silky hair that is now down to her bum I didn't want to cut it for it to be thrown away so I thought why not donate it to Cancer patients. She has such a soft spot for sick people (even ones with just a little old cough) so explaining to her what her hair will be going towards she will no doubt be happy for the receiver.

Another reason why I thought it would be nice to donate her hair to cancer patients is I lost my own mum to cancer when I was 4weeks old and she also has family on her dad's side who have passed, survived and battling cancer at the moment.

Alaya will be having her hair cut on the 29th of August (Daffodil Day)

Any donation whether it be big or small will be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will be going to the Cancer Society, Breast Cancer and Canteen ❤

Am wanting to teach my daughter in life that generosity and compassion towards other people goes a long way and by teaching her from a young age I know it will be a good trait/quality for her to have in the long run as other people may learn a thing or two from her
