Every Little Bit Helps Towards Making a Difference in the Lives of Those Less Fortunate

International

I feel very blessed with my life here in sunny Southland, New Zealand. I have loving family around me and all my daily living and material needs are met. I can’t imagine life being any other way .... but I do know that there are so many poor people and especially helpless children who don’t share this abundance and security. And with the COVID crisis the need is even greater! If we can all share a little something, then surely we can make a difference. To give is such a blessing!

I love the story of Orphans Aid International and the work that is being done by them to help orphaned and abandoned children around the world - I see this walk on lovely Stewart Island as a small way to contribute to this great cause.

Stewart Island Walk Done and Dusted  11 December 2020

Thank you to all who contributed towards this sponsored walk for Orphans Aid International. Together you helped me for my part raise over $1000 and we hope that this will make a difference to some children who start each day without the family support and needs that we all so enjoy. The walk was great fun - 7 of us from throughout NZ all with different life stories to share - great company, scenery and weather!!! 😎
