Ann Gonzales abseiling for rangatahi in Otago!

Ann Gonzales has recently moved to full-time employment with Business South! Ann’s journey began as an intern for the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES), where she coordinated with schools and teachers to plan impactful events. Now in her full-time role, Ann splits her time between YES and the My Next Move initiative, working with high school students to support them in exploring career pathways.

Ann brings a fresh perspective to event planning, embracing the challenge of learning on the job and gaining hands-on experience. Her ability to organise, connect and execute meaningful initiatives makes her an asset to the Business South team.

A fun fact about Ann is she’s an avid reader and budding gardener. This year, she has gotten into gardening vegetables and has planted lettuce, tomatoes, corn and leeks. Her gardening journey started with marigolds and has been growing ever since.
