My aim is to create awareness, and educate women on Gynaecological Cancer, as I would do anything to see the survival rates improve.

New Zealand Gynaecological Cancer Foundation is on a mission to educate women about the signs and symptoms of gynaecological cancers, with the aim of improving survival rates. I have chosen to support NZGCF because I believe we need to start talking about these cancers and I would like to see the survival rates improve. It is a little known fact that 3 women are diagnosed and 1 woman dies every day in NZ from a gynae cancer – which encompasses ovarian, cervical, uterine, vulval and vaginal cancers. For ovarian cancer, one woman dies in NZ every 48hrs. Help yourself and the ladies in your lives by becoming familiar with the signs and symptoms at nzgcf.org.nz.
