Assistance dog for Samuel

  • Why we require this money for liam

      5 October 2018

Thank you for the fundraising efforts so far for our assistance dog. Here is some info from the ADNZ page they may help you understand why we have to raise 20K and why this dog will be so valuable to the quality of Sams life

How much does an Assistance Dog cost?

It costs approximately $65,000 to train each Assistance Dog. This includes everything from breeding a puppy, to food, vaccinations, training, and placement of dog to client. Assistance Dogs NZ continue to provide services to our clients for the working life of the dog which is 8-10 years.
