Raising awareness for Kidsline and celebrating the utilisation of the performing arts as an outlet and means of self expression.

Kidsline is NZ's very own and original telephone counselling service for all kids up to 18 years of age. It is uniquely about kids being there for other kids. They are the only national child helpline in the world where every counsellor is a secondary school student.

Auckland University Dance Association is holding a showcase to raise funds for Kidsline to keep up its awesome work in the community. We will be showcasing a range of talent from the University of Auckland, including dance, music, even martial arts. We celebrate the outlet of the performing arts as a means of self-expression, especially as we all cope with the stresses of student life.

We want to use this event to create awareness of important resources that youth can use to support their wellbeing. We want more children to utilise the amazing organisation that is Kidsline! It's free and available to call 24/7!
