AUT South Campus staff are completing the Hubbards Head 2 Head Walk event on Nov 12-13th 2016, which is a 125km 26hour walk from one side of the Manukau Harbour heads to the other. We're also the pit-stop for the end of Leg 3 and the start of Leg 4 for the event when walkers will arrive around midnight Sat Nov 12th and their teammates head out into the darkness, headed for Lynfield. Money raised goes to Oke Charity who do great work in South Auckland providing kids the opportunity to learn life & social skills by introducing productive gardens into their schools. AUT South Campus staff will be walking in the event and AUT South Campus is opening it's doors to welcome in the participants as the start point of the 4th leg of the 125km walk & we hope you will help us reach our target of raising $2000 for Oke Charity. Our 10 staff will be walking 25km each, so please give generously, so our aching bodies & blistered feet will have been for a worthy cause.

Thanks so much for your generous donations. We've almost hit our target which is very pleasing as all the money raised will be going back into local projects in South Auckland Primary Schools.

It was a wonderful weekend which took us through the amazingly varied landscapes of Manukau. There were some weary bodies but lots of smiles and AUT South Campus was very proud to host the walkers for the end of Leg 3. Bring on 2017!!!
