We're looking after our mates in NZ: Aspiring Avalanche Dogs
Otago
If you watch the video, you'll understand why it's so special to me to be a sponsor of the Aspiring Avalanche dogs in Wanaka New Zealand... All volunteer work and dogs trained at the team's cost.
I am the owner of SkippersMate and have worked with our friends at AAD for years donating personal locator beacons (PLBs).
Any donation OVER $10.00 made by you will be gratefully received and thanked in an appropriate way once payment is completed!

a great donation made at the beginning of the year of $500 was extremely appreciated by the founder of the "Aspiring Dogs" and with new broader structural changes to the organisation and increase school mountain safety educational programmes, on going fundraising is a must have.
To whom it may concern, It has come to my attention via the amazing folks at SkippersMate (Peter and Di) that you made a very generous donation to Aspiring Avalanche Dogs via the SkippersMate Givealittle page. The delay in my response is in no way a reflection of our gratitude…on behalf of the Aspiring Avalanche Dogs team.. Thank you! As a non-profit organisation we rely on the generosity of others, some have had first hand encounters with the white dragon, others are alpine recreationalists who appreciate having us on standby year round while others simply love dogs and/or have a desire to be a positive influence through generosity. I'm not sure where you fit into this spectrum? If you and your family are into sliding on snow or simple love amazing views we would love to show our gratitude with an avalanche dog experience at our home mountain of Treble Cone.. If you are ever across this side of the ditch during the winter months of course! Thank you once again for providing the proverbial fuel that keeps us driving forward:-) Matt Gunn - AAD
