Participating in Clash for Construction 2024- Auckland

Auckland

Nearly every week, the construction industry loses one of its mates to suicide. To help raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, bbd has three heavy hitters who have decided to throw themselves into the deep end and glove up for the Hirepool Clash for Construction.

Hirepool Clash for Construction is a charity boxing event for ‘Tradies’ to step in the ring and raise funds for Mates in Construction to help them keep fighting the good fight around suicide prevention in the construction industry. All proceeds from this event go to Mates in Construction and we are proud to be supporting our mates who are giving it a go.

Gabriel, Conner and Finn have been selected to train with the red team at Redline Combat Academy where they will partake in a 13-week training camp before potentially being selected to step into the ring on the 28th of September.

We wish the best of luck to our fighters and look forward to seeing how they progress throughout their 13-week journey. Let's raise as much money as we can for such an incredible cause.
