Help support people who are struggling and stop suicide in NZ by giving to Lifeline!
Hastings, Hawke's Bay
Beard Brothers are happy to support Lifeline with our limited edition Happy Bangers sausages!
After two years of restrictions and lockdowns for Aotearoa, we are all aware of the impact Covid-19 has had on our mental health or the mental health of our friends and whānau. For many, the services that Lifeline provides are more important than ever. But Lifeline isn't government funded - every call and text is funded by donations.
Lifeline’s caring, specially trained counsellors support hundreds of Kiwis every day, 24/7 by phone call (0800 LIFELINE) and text (4357). This is a totally safe, free, confidential service.
We want to acknowledge the tough times people have had, remind them that it's OK not to be OK, that there is help out there, but that organisations like Lifeline need help too.
Here's how you can get involved:
• Donate to this campaign to support Lifeline
• Purchase a limited-edition pack of Happy Banger sausages (available at PaknSave, New World and Four Square stores for a month starting Tuesday, 21 June)
• Host a fundraiser with the Happy Banger e.g. workplace sausage sizzle, dinner with your mates, etc. and encourage everyone to donate to this campaign
• Share this fundraising page on social and with your friends, whānau and co-workers.
Let's turn the tide, NZ!
