Lifeline has been there for New Zealanders to relieve distress and prevent suicide for over 60 years. Our qualified counsellors and well-trained volunteers provide free and confidential support, 365 days a year. Whatever the issue, we're here to listen.

We receive more than 7,000 calls and each month, and send and receive 9,000 texts each month.

It costs on average $36 to answer each call & with no government funding for this much needed service, we rely on the kindness & generosity of donations.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform.
