Donate to Lifeline and help make a real difference to New Zealanders in crisis.
Lifeline Aotearoa has been helping New Zealanders in crisis for over 50 years. It’s free community helplines (Lifeline 24/7, Suicide Crisis Helpline, Kidsline) are answered by volunteers and paid staff from call centres in Auckland and Christchurch.
Lifeline Aotearoa receives no government funding for these helplines so relies on the public to be able to answer calls.
Lifeline Aotearoa receives over 10,000 calls from people of all ages and ethnicities who are struggling with a wide range of issues and helps an average of 5 people a day who are at high risk of suicide.
Calls to Lifeline Aotearoa are free, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are confidential.
Lifeline Aotearoa is a nationwide charity which provides free and confidential support to people in crisis.
Our services include a 24/7 helpline (0800 LIFELINE - 543 354), suicide crisis helpline (0508 TAUTOKO), face to face counselling, suicide prevention training and Kidsline - a dedicated helpline for children (0800 54 37 54).
