We joined the Type 1 community 4 years ago when our son Tom was diagnosed. The community has been such a huge blessing to Tom and us in that time. The support from Diabetes Otago and the camps that Paula and the team organize truly provide an opportunity for young people living with type 1 to have some fun and for families to have a break. We are running to raise money so more kids can experience a camp environment while being looked after by the amazing team!!
