Beth has been in employed full-time at Workforce Central for a year. Beth’s role at Workforce Central sees her supporting job seekers into employment in the construction sector, organising training and providing a comprehensive pastural care model for the workers on the Hospital build, and offering training and tours to youth and school leavers interested in the trades.

I am excited to be participating in Toss the Boss, as I am passionate about supporting young people to thrive and grow on their journey into adult life. I am thrilled to be able to aid syd in this goal.

Raymond Clark’s diverse work experience in primary schools and Corrections’ Probation has informed his approach as Operations Manager of Workforce Central Dunedin.

Workforce Central, which is funded by the Provincial Growth Fund, is charged with assisting contractors to source the workforce for the New Dunedin Hospital Build, coordinating training and delivering pastoral care. “Working on the New Dunedin Hospital is legendary. It’s exciting to be able to assist someone into a job on this generational project and support them whilst they are here with us.”

I think Toss the Boss is fantastic. Everybody needs to be a little terrified now and again. Toss the Boss is the ideal way to grow stronger by doing something courageous which you would not ordinarily do. If somebody asks you if you’re up for a challenge, say, “Why not?”
