WAIROA: BEYOND THE RESPONSE- Emergency Management Bay of Plenty Fundraiser

In February 2023, many of our team were deployed to the east coast (Wairoa/Tairawhiti) to support the Cyclone Gabrielle emergency response.

It has been a year since the disaster struck leaving a trail of devastation. To support the ongoing recovery efforts and those affected by the cyclone, we are launching a 30-day challenge to raise funds for the Wairoa Mayoral Relief Fund.

By supporting this cause, you will not only assist those in need but also demonstrate the strength of community and spirit that binds people together.

It is also a reminder to those of us who work in emergency management to prioritise our well-being so we can continue to serve our community effectively.

Emergency Management Bay of Plenty staff will commit every day to 100 PUSH UP, SQUATS, BURPEES (or a combination of all three) every day from 14 February - 15 March, 2024.
