BFT Kensington's Club Week for Sport Otago - Sporting Chance

As we’re sure most of you will know, Ōtepoti is hosting the All Blacks vs England test next Saturday 6th July. To celebrate, we thought what better way to celebrate than a WHOLE WEEK of dress ups for an incredible cause - Sport Otago‘s Sporting Chance programme which provides financial assistance to tamariki in the wider Otago region, who may otherwise not have the opportunity to partake in sports.

We know a lot of our community (including coaches!) are passionate about about certain club teams, at all levels.

🎽WHO: YOU

🎽WHAT: Represent any sports or club team’s jersey or uniform!

🎽WHEN: Monday 01 July - Friday 05 July (we’ve let it run all week to allow members that aren’t able to attend every day to participate, but the MAIN day will be Friday 05 July where we’ll have a very special guest 🌬️ and would like as many of you in your club colours as possible!).

🎽WHY: We know how tough the current cost of living crisis is, and we are privileged enough to be able to participate in both Group Fitness classes and club sports outside our four walls. Unfortunately, there are many tamariki across the wider Otago region that do not have the same opportunities as our community does.

🎽HOW: Donations support Sport Otago’s Sporting Chance program to provide assistance to tamariki who may otherwise not be able to participate in sports. We will match the donations dollar for dollar, and maybe even burpee/cal on a machine for every dollar (sorry coaches!).
