Participating in Clash for Construction 2025

Nationwide

I’m taking part in Clash for Construction because I want to do more than just step into the ring, I want to raise awareness about suicide prevention in the construction industry. Too many of our mates, colleagues, and friends are silently struggling, and the statistics are a heartbreaking reminder that this issue can’t be ignored. By training hard and giving it everything I’ve got, I hope to shine a light on the importance of speaking up, supporting one another, and backing the work of MATES in Construction, who are dedicated to creating real change and saving lives in our industry.

Raising much needed funds for Mates in Construction, working in the mental health and suicide prevention space

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
