Three old mates take on the Tour Aotearoa Challenge. Riding 3000kms Cape Reinga to the Bluff!
Waikato
Three old mates and avid cyclists are riding the length of Aotearoa. Riding over 3000kms through New Zealand's back country roads and national parks.
Starting 22nd February in Cape Reinga and hopefully finishing 26 days later in Bluff.
Harry, Maurice and Jack - two farmers and a fitter/welder, all reside in the creme of the country that is Morrinsville. The trio, all north of 60, have honed their skills in their local Sunday riding club. They are passionate cyclists and are excited about the challenge that awaits.
While there is a long road ahead, the trio will be running on caffeine and the odd recovery ale.
They hope to make a difference and raise funds for a great charity!
A long family connection with cystic fibrosis with nieces and nephews. This is an opportunity to raise funds to help find a cure for a debilitating disease.
