Royle Epsom Bridge Club members and friends are playing bridge and fundraising for children who have suffered the trauma of burns.
Auckland
Royle Epsom Bridge Club members and friends are fundraising and playing bridge from 6 pm Friday 10th June to 6pm Saturday 11th June 2016. During this 24 hour period there will be eight bridge sessions and eager players have the opportunity to play as many or as few sessions as they wish. There will be some hardy souls who will play for 24 hours.
The club and its members will raise funds, in conjunction with the Burns Support Group, for children (7 to 17 years) who have suffered the trauma of burns. Each year in January a group go to Camp Maynard, Albany, Auckland for five days where they have the chance to meet other young people who have sustained a burn injury. There are confidence workshops and fun activities. It is a chance for ‘Kids to be Kids’.
