Support parents and whānau in hospital with a sick child this holiday season

$10,780 of $15,000 goal
Given by 158 generous donors in 11 days

Through the simple act of gift giving, we care for and empower parents and whānau with sick babies and children.

Nationwide

With your extraordinary generosity we've raised enough funds to give 300 special Christmas packages to parents in hospital with a sick child on Christmas Day! Thank you so very very much to everyone who donated! We are beyond grateful!!

Now we think any parent or caregiver who is in hospital over the festive season deserves some extra support.

While most families are soaking up the sunshine together and having a well deserved break in December/ January, hundreds of whānau will be in a sterile hospital ward as their newborn receives lifesaving treatment in a neonatal unit or their child is cared for in the paediatric wards.  They won't be unwinding at the beach, instead their stress levels and sleep deprivation will be at an all time high.

One Mother to Another provides a generous, practical and touching care package of support (incl. a handwritten note) to those in this situation.  We want them to know they are seen, and not alone!

If you haven't donated so far but would like to... with your help we'd love to continue raising funds for care packages to be given to mothers, fathers and caregivers over the holiday season, not only on Christmas Day.

Let's see how far into January we can get! Each pack costs $25.

(We provides 420 care packages of support every month to mothers and whānau in 13 South Island hospital wards!)

We support 13 wards in Christchurch, Dunedin, Nelson, Blenheim, Timaru, Invercargill and Greymouth.
