    What a stunning ride, most impressive day of the tour. Amazing scenery, beach forest, alpine vegetation. Then into Waiuta.

    Gee it's been an epic journey so far, about 1600km, though stunning country. Scarred by recent floods. Through it all the locals have been appreciative to have people on this tour Aotearoa stopping, purchasing countless coffee's and food, sharing their experiences of recent weather events.

    55km ride, some short sharp climbs, rest day today as next 2 days have plenty of trail climbs. Timber Trail starts. Time to have nutrition of a champion
