Caring for Kids in Community

The Village Community Centre runs Kid's Club: a fun, safe space for children to learn and play after-school at a low cost to families. We need your support for a new Youth Worker to lead this programme filled with afternoon tea, sharing time, and games, sport, cooking and craft. Other children's programmes your funds will support include: pre-school music and an after-school art class. Support life's JOY and WONDER!

The Village Community Centre fosters friendship and builds community amongst the cultural and socio-economic diversity of the local area. The Village aims to support and strengthen families, children and the elderly through its low-cost programmes. We offer Te Reo classes, pre-school music, after-school programmes, parent support, indoor bowls, gentle exercise, line dancing, movement for the disabled and a foot clinic for older people.
