HELP THEM ACHIEVE THEIR GOAL OF A TOP 5 PLACING FOR NEW ZEALAND!

The Christchurch City Chorus is a group of women who sing A Cappella, four part harmony, and are members of the Sweet Adeline International organisation.

They have 155 members ranging in ages from 18 to 80 and are the highest achieving women’s chorus in Australasia.

Over the years they have competed 10 times at the National Sweet Adeline Competition and each time have come away with success and placed 1st.

Their latest success was in May 2015 where they gained 1st place. They now have the honour of representing New Zealand at the Sweet Adeline International Competition in October 2016 in Las Vegas.

They have represented New Zealand on many occasions at the Sweet Adeline International Competition with their highest achievement of placing 6th in the world, in Hawaii 2013.

Their goal for 2016 is to achieve a top 5 placing at the International competition and become the first southern hemisphere chorus to achieve this.

It is a huge financial commitment to represent New Zealand at this competition and unfortunately not all of their members have been able to attend in the past.

Lets help get the full chorus to Las Vegas in October and achieve their goal!

Any money raised will go towards, airfares, accommodation, meals, and airport transfers. The chorus will have two Internationally recognised vocal coaches, plus a choreographer with them in Las Vegas and need to also cover their fees for air travel, accommodation and meals.
