Fundraising for MATES in construction

On the 3rd of may I will be stepping into the ring for the first time for Ōtepoti Boxing Club, PUNCH WITH PURPOSE 4 charity event. I’m currently training in a 10 week training camp with 24 other legends who are also fundraising for a charity of their choice.

I have chosen MATES in construction because the construction industry in NZ is losing nearly 1 person a week due to suicide. Which I think is crazy! I think the work that MATES are doing to help strengthen workplace communities and provide an environment that encourages positive wellbeing is top notch and I think will be hugely beneficial for those struggling.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped me reach my goal of $1000 so quickly. I’ve decided to raise my goal to $1500 as there’s still 2.5 weeks until my fight. Cheers
