Chopping my hair (Number 3) as a small token to show how thankful and grateful we are for the support during the toughest time in our lives.
Canterbury
After twins Noah and Micah arrived early at 27 weeks weighing a tiny 2lb 11oz and 2lb 9oz our lives completely changed. An instant move in cities to spend the next 100 days on a roller coaster ride on the journey of pre term babies. We set a record of the longest stay in Room 1 (intensive care) of 10 weeks. Being boys and a twins they had all odds against them!!
We were so lucky to be accommodated in Ronald McDonald house during this stressful and emotional time where the support, love and friendships made will never be forgotten and was really a home away from home.
The twins have come in leaps and bounds and now are two of the happiest children around! Going viral for their contagious giggle, stumping the pediatrician due to meeting developmental milestone to excellent level and such strong go get em' attitude nothing will stop them.
The 24th July makes what should of been the boys birth date. On this date 4 years on I am going to chop my hair off (number 3) and raise funds for these two incredible charities Ronald McDonald House and Neonatal Trust who we are forever in debt too. I will also be donating my hair to Freedom Hair for them to create a wig from.
My twin boys were born premature at 27 weeks. They spent 94 days in Christchurch Neonatal Unit, while Jonny and Myself were housed at Ronald McDonald House
