Climbing stairs. Getting into the Well-being theme and raising funds for a great cause is what we are all about
Auckland
It’s real simple. Both teams (of 4) will be climbing the building stairwell, equivalent to the same height as a mountain climber would from Base Camp to the peak of Mt Everest.
A number of expert mathematicians tell us that if we walked up Chorus’ Auckland & Wellington stairwells 68 times, then we’d be pretty close to hitting the mark (give or take a few steps).
So on Daffodil Day, we’re going to rise to the challenge with each team member climbing the stairwell 17 times, each in an effort to raise a little money for the fight against Cancer. It also ties in nicely to our Well-being theme for August which is Sit Less, Move More, Feel Good.
It’s a massive effort, but we’re all looking forward to getting behind the cause and we hope that you’ll get behind us by contributing to our give-a-little page
There's a little bit of something for all members of the team.
For some; it’s to get into the Chorus Well-being theme for August.
Others? Completely nuts wanting to climb that many stairs and for a few, it's more personal given the day we do the event and the charity our fundraising will go to.
For all of the team though, it’s a chance to put ourselves to the test, raise funds and give to a great cause.
