Hi wonderful friends,
You will be in no doubt of the unprecedented impacts that COVID-19 is having on our daily lives and the world as we have always known it. You may have seen my latest update letting you know that I'm now temporarily back in New Zealand. I made it home to New Zealand with 7 hours to spare till they locked down the country...
I want to sincerely thank every one of you for all your support and encouragement during this stressful time. I found it so difficult to leave Cambodia and my heart is heavy because of it. The boys are doing well and they too are in the adjustment stage during this crisis. We are in regular contact and I am resourcing them with all I can so they don’t have too many extra stresses at present. Cambodia is already such a difficult country and this pandemic could be devastating for the people I care for there so I’m asking for you all to please stay on board with me in any way you can.
This is where your coffee coins for Cambodia comes in! While many are stuck at home and not able to buy flat whites, long blacks or large double-shot caramel skim-milk extra-hot lattes, I wanted to ask if you might consider your coffee money towards the Aroha Project.
Every coffee is a meal in Cambodia so that’ll help me feed a few over the next few months while we ride this pandemic out…
