Kia Ora friends! For my upcoming 20th birthday this July I have decided to fundraise $2000 to support UNICEF to provide covid-19 vaccines!💛

Kia Ora friends, this is Emily here!
I’m a second year medical student here at University of Otago in New Zealand. After getting into Medschool and learning more about this pandemic, I have realised how challenging it is to cease this ongoing pandemic. Not simply because of the rate at which the virus is spreading, but there are people in many other countries who cannot afford to get vaccinated without even getting the chance to be safe and be protected against COVID-19. From what I have learnt so far as a medschool “toddler” was that every individual must have a right to accept or decline the treatment that is offered to them (ethics guys hehe💛). However, if there aren’t any treatment (vaccinations) to be provided in the first place how can we protect these people and where are their rights? SOOO for my upcoming 20th birthday this July, I have decided to support UNICEF with providing COVID-19 vaccination to low-middle income countries rather than throwing up a party for myself! But I need your help!! My goal is to raise $2000 before the end of this July and every dollar from you amazing people counts!!!🥺🥺 I would really appreciate all of your supports so please feel free to share this post and help this BIG person out🐥🐥(yeahy!!) UNICEF has managed to provide 89 million covid vaccines to over 132 countries but they need to reach 2 billion doses before the end of 2021!!! So please help us out as we are all in this together 💛 Thank you for reading through my story and hope you have a great day🏠 Kia Kaha everyone.
