Cutting locks to feed the flocks!
I am shaving my hair off to raise funds for the drought stricken farmers of Hawke’s Bay. And donating the hair to make wigs.

The Hawke’s Bay Farmers need support in these hard times. I myself have a lifestyle block and have had to feed out this year. I am glad I only have small numbers of animals. I am a vet and understand the challenges of caring for stock in these challenging times.
I have hair that needs to be cut, so why not raise money for this cause in the process? I will also donate the hair to help make wigs.

The locks have gone! 30 July 2020
The shave happened on Saturday after I finished my morning vet clinic using the surgical blade clippers! The locks have been collected in plaits to send for use for wigs.
