Cutting My Hair for Stuart Rose

$1,380 donated
Given by 29 generous donors in 5 weeks

I’m donating around 14 inches of my hair for wigs and any money I receive via sponsors to Stuart Rose and his family while he fights cancer.

Waikato

Stuart Rose is currently fighting Melanoma and a brain lesion. With his treatment he is receiving, he needs four boosters which are very expensive and unfunded meaning it all comes down on his family. As my way of supporting his family through this rough time, I am cutting my hair and donating it to Freedom Wigs and donating any money I receive from sponsors to his family.

All money will go straight to his family’s page which they have set up https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/stuart-rose-fighting-melanoma where you can also read more.

I have been growing my hair, only getting it trimmed about every 6 months for around 8 years. My hair is currently around 83cms at its longest. Any support through sponsors would be greatly appreciated and will be going to this great cause.

Stuart’s daughter, Charli, was one of my first friends in the beginning of high school and I’ve grown to know Stuart as an amazing man. His family deserves all the help they can get in this tough time.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. My hair was cut on the 31st of October and the hair is now going to Freedom wigs. This doesn’t mean that further donations won’t be accepted. Thank you for all the support everyone has shown for this cause, it has been very much appreciated.
