Cutting our hair for cancer

$5,244 of $5,000 goal
Given by 133 generous donors in 5 weeks

Giving a child with cancer a little happiness in their journey. Eva Ronberg and Amelia Otto are donating their hair.

Hawke's Bay

I am cutting my hair to donate to freedom wigs to support children with cancer, and to bring a little happiness in their journey. It's been nearly 10 years since I lost my little sister Milly to cancer. I will always remember how her face lit up when she received her wig.

I am doing this in honour of Milly. 💚

Amelia Otto also planned to donate her hair to make a wig. So we decided to do this together.

Amelia is doing this in memory of her sister Franziska. The majority of the proceeds will go to the Child Cancer Foundation, with a separate donation going to Sands HB. (Sands supports parents and families who have experienced the death of a baby at any stage during pregnancy as a baby or infant.)

We will cut our hair during our last week of school. Which will be Monday the 5th of December during our lunchtime. Everyone's welcome to come along to watch!

We appreciate any donations.

Many thanks,

Eva Ronberg and Amelia Otto
