    I want to thank everyone for their backing; we've had help and support from Heather at Alzheimers Society Nelson Tasman, Blair at the Breeze, Sean and the team at Waimea Print Express, Jared from Eclipse Hair, and of course, Stacey and the team at Skydive Abel Tasman.

    And thank you so much for all your generous donations! We nearly made the $2000, but the total is still huge and will be a big help to the practical work that Alzheimers Society does in the Nelson Tasman area.

    I'm not sure what I can do next year, but the Skydive Abel Tasman people have put out a daunting challenge; - watch this space...!

  • What an achievement - and what a relief!

    Woohoo, I've done it! Once the nerves subsided, it was exhilarating and the freefall seemed to whizz by in about 20 seconds; but the video provided by Skydive Abel Tasman proves that it was the predicted 70 seconds, followed by the glorious float to the bottom!

    There's still time for you to contribute - let's hit the $2000!

  • Colouring up for the cause!

    With purple being the recognised colour For Dementia, I thought I should do the job properly and have the right hair colour. Jared from Eclipse Hair joined in the fun and here is the result!

  • Great support from local businesses!

    I went to Sean at Waimea Print Express and asked if he would like to contribute towards my campaign and print off some 'home made' flyers. Not only was he enthusiastic about supporting me, he and his team (special thanks to Denise) redesigned and produced our fabulous professional poster. Thanks guys
