Cycling sees more New Zealanders breaking their backs and necks than any other sport in our country by three to one.
The New Zealand Spinal Trust has been selected to enter a team in the 2019 Tour of New Zealand cycle race to raise funds and awareness to support New Zealanders with spinal cord injuries.
I am thrilled to be part of the team cycling The Tour of New Zealand which is taking place in April. It's a week long event starting in Glenorchy and finishing in Wellington via Rotorua and Tongariro National Park. We will be completing approximately 600kms on the bike in support of the NZ Spinal Trust. Over the last 20 years I have enjoyed cycling regularly and while on holiday in different countries. Now I am proud to be involved in this event, cycling beautiful New Zealand, for a great cause.
